Alright
ladies… this is the palette that everyone has been waiting for (whether you
knew it or not). Maybelline’s THE NUDES palette is absolutely incredible. Let me give you three reasons as to why you should invest in this beauty.
1. PRICE
OK so this should go without saying, but obviously this palette is going to be cheaper than the NAKED palette from Urban Decay given that it's by Maybelline. How much cheaper you ask? $44.00 CHEAPER! Yes that's right! The Urban Decay NAKED Palette runs for $54.00, while this bargain is only $10.00! The Nudes is basically the cheaper version of the NAKED palette for all you ladies who don't want to fork out $54.00 for a neutral palette. If that's not reason enough, I don't know what is.
2. BEAUTIFUL NEUTRALS/COLOR PAYOFF
This palette has every color you could ever need for daytime and nighttime looks. You have everything from a shimmery white to a matte charcoal black. The first color is the shimmery white which basically serves to even out the lid color and give a shimmer to your eyes. In order of left to right, top row to bottom row: matte beige with a slight shimmer, matte light peachy, skin-toned color, shimmery burnt brown-ish color, matte taupe, matte dark brown, shimmery gold, shimmery dark brown, lighter slightly-shimmery taupe-tan color, matte black. These colors are GORGEOUS and you get every type of color you need: the lights, the darks, the mattes, the shimmers. The color payoff is amazing and the shadows are pretty pigmented for the price. Do yourself a favor and go buy this palette.
3. CHIC PACKAGING + CUTE FOR TRAVEL
The packaging for this product is gorgeous and chic. The shiny black case perfectly represents the sophisticated colors inside. Also, by leaving clear plastic over the colors, the shadows serve as almost the decoration on the packaging in and of itself. The palette is small and could fit into a travel bag or even your purse for easy every day use. What's not to love about this beauty?
Please go check this out and consider purchasing it because it is so much cheaper than the NAKED palettes (btw I'm not degrading the NAKED palette in any way, I'm just giving you a cheaper option) and it is amazing. You can buy it at drugstores like Wallgreen's or CVS, at Ulta or Target, or online (there are probably other stores too that I'm forgetting).
